The Leap PQ9921 digital chess clock is designed for active players of all skill levels, whether for tournaments or training. It is simple and intuitive to operate. The clock is made of plastic and is powered by a single AA battery. Thanks to its large LCD display, the measured time and other functions are clearly visible. It offers a total of 37 preset timing modes, including the option to create your own custom settings.

Advanced modes and user settings

The clock offers 37 pre-programmed settings for various game types, such as countdown, bonus (increment), delay or byo-yomi. You can also create and save your own custom timing modes. A special user mode “00” contains four separate time periods, while the memory mode “99” is used to save your modifications to the preset modes. During a game, the time can be easily changed and the number of moves checked, which helps arbiters when adding time penalties. When the clock is turned off and on again, the last used parameters are retained, unless you remove the battery.
