The Maisto 1:24 scale model of the 1973 Volkswagen Beetle in green is a faithful replica of one of the most iconic cars of the 20th century. The body of the model is made of high quality diecast metal, complemented by plastic details. The model is equipped with opening doors and hood, which allows a glimpse into the detailed interior and engine compartment. The wheels are on rubber tyres and are rotatable, which contributes to the realistic impression of the model. It is mounted on a sturdy plastic base that makes it easy to display and present. The predecessor model, the 1973 Volkswagen Beetle, was equipped with a 1.6-litre engine, which allowed it to achieve over 50 horsepower. The design of the car was characterised by round headlights, rounded shapes and simple lines. The green colour with contrasting chrome details gives the model a timeless and sophisticated look.
