The cat specialists are now vying for cosmic supremacy. Fearless and stubborn cats who, after a long struggle, have taken over the Earth and now want to conquer the entire universe. Their rashness, however, can lead to many misfortunes. Take to the stars in a rocket, or rely on your cat instincts and leave the rocket before it crashes. It's a dangerous race full of shanty, sneakiness and exploding rockets. Whoever wins this epic race will capture the endless resources of the Milky Way in their paws and become a true space conqueror. What the game is about
Your mission is to send feline astronauts on dangerous missions to explore planets, moons and the depths of space. In each round you load one astronaut into a rocket and use dice rolls to try to fly as far as possible. The further you get, the more points you can earn. But you have to carefully consider the risk - if you don't throw the right numbers, the rocket will crash and all the astronauts will return to Earth. The game offers an interesting choice between risking for higher profits and a more certain but less profitable landing. Each astronaut also has a unique ability that you can use tactically. The winner is the player with the most points at the end of the game.
History and creators of the game
MLEM: Space Agency was published in 2024 by the Polish publishing house Rebel. It was localized into Czech the same year. The renowned German game designer Reiner Knizia is behind the creation of the game, who has dozens of successful board games to his credit. The visuals are by Polish illustrator Joanna Rzepecka, whose cute cat astronauts you will quickly fall in love with.
