The Proboat Recoil 2 18" is based on the larger 26" (66 cm) Recoil speedboat, which conquered the water world with its speed, easy handling and last but not least a stylish hull with eye-catching, licensed graphics. Its huge success inspired Pro Boat to create the Recoil 2 18" RC boat, which is smaller, more affordable and offers the same exciting performance, handling and style. Like its "big brother", the Recoil 2 has an 18" Deep-V hull made of durable ABS material. Despite its smaller size, it is still an extra speed boat. Thanks to its water-cooled brushless motor and controller, the Spectrum will literally fly across the water at speeds of up to 40 km/h. If the model is tipped over in the middle of the lake, nothing happens - one long press of the third channel on the Spektrum SLT3 transmitter will activate the Self-righting function and the Recoil 2 18" will immediately flip over and return to action.

The Recoil 2 18" is ready to ride right out of the box

Everything you need to operate the Recoil 2 18" is included in the package. The Spektrum SLT3 2.4GHz transmitter combines reliability, ergonomics and the ability to set all the necessary functions to enjoy your ride to the fullest. The included 3S LiPo 1300 mAh Smart battery is easily and safely charged with the included Spektrum S120 USB-C charger. A practical stand for display and maintenance is also included. The compact size of the boat fits easily into a car or backpack for easy transport to the lake or other larger body of water. Thanks to its easy preparation and simple handling, the boat is also suitable for beginners. Its speed, precise steering and especially fun will enchant even experienced modellers.

The Spektrum SLT3 2.4GHz RC kit provides reliable, interference-free control, while the SR315 dual protocol SLT/DSMR receiver makes it easy to upgrade to more advanced Spektrum transmitters. Charging the battery has never been easier. Simply plug the included Spektrum 3S Smart LiPo battery into the Spektrum S120 USB-C Smart Charger - Smart technology automatically detects the battery type, number of cells and the correct charging current and starts charging safely. The water-cooled brushless motor and Spektrum Firma 30A controller maintain a stable operating temperature thanks to efficient water cooling, even during extended driving. The optimized design of the model ensures a balance between speed and efficiency. You can enjoy up to 7 minutes of driving per charge, even at high speeds. The clever folding rudder simply folds away when hitting an obstacle instead of damaging it. No need to replace the shear bolt - just straighten it back out. Adjustable stainless steel plates on the stern allow you to fine-tune the handling to your preference. They are strong, durable and reliable in the long term. The practical stand not only serves to display the Recoil 2 18", but also as a useful maintenance helper. It can be rotated and used as a parts tray or for working with the propeller shaft.

Accessories for normal boat operation

For normal operation of RC model boat you need special grease for lubrication of boat shafts. The special lubricant formulation ensures smooth running of the shaft in the Teflon tube while maintaining maximum component life. Marine grease or Marine grease with grease gun is recommended.
