The powerful Traxxas DCB M41 Widebody RC remote control boat model reaches speeds of over 80 km/h. The real racing boat DCB M41, manufactured by Dave's Custom Boats, reaches speeds of over 250 km/h and is powered by a petrol engine of up to 1550 hp. Traxxas has prepared for you a remote-controlled ship model that will definitely not disappoint you. Fuselage length is 105 cm, Traxxas TSM stabilization, Traxxas TQi RC kit and proven propulsion are standard. All you need to get it up and running are the drive batteries and a charger. The basis for the extreme performance of the DCB M41 Widebody RC model is its all-new catamaran hull with low drag on the water and excellent stability and handling. The lightweight and strong fuselage made of special plastic must withstand the high stresses of the powerful AC drive and is lighter than a fibreglass fuselage. The rear bulkhead contains the mounting of trim tabs, rudders, struts and drive, eliminating the need for additional reinforcements in the fuselage. It has a moulded foam filling in the hull which further stiffens the hull and makes the boat "unsinkable". Widebody has a distinctive hull colouration, so it is very visible on the water.

Shaft and quick release mechanism

The powerful Traxxas DCB M41 remote control RC boat faithfully reproduces the shape of the cockpit, with attention to detail, like the dashboard indicators, speakers, steering wheel, seats and more. The well-crafted cockpit corresponds with the look of the whole ship, creating a work of art with the heart of a demon. The Traxxas M41 uses a unique way of attaching the flexible shaft, using a clamping pliers. This solution perfectly centres the shaft with the motor and ensures smooth and safe operation without the possibility of loosening. When it's time for maintenance, the clamp is quickly released by turning the key. Once released, the support and flexible cable simply slides out. Servicing is as easy as possible and you can keep your Traxxas M41 RC model in top condition at all times.

Durable aluminium rudder

The Traxxas M41 is equipped with a propeller made of composite material that minimizes cavitation thanks to its clever shape. The propeller is lightweight and durable, without the need for balancing. For maximum AC motor power transfer and precise, crisp steering, the rudder and other components are made of highly durable 6000 Series extruded aluminum, which is blue anodized and polished. A hose is connected to the rudder to supply water to the engine cooling system and the controller. The two trim tabs on the underside of the hull are made of stainless steel and guarantee perfect stability of the boat even at high speeds.

Easy service access

Eye-catching graphics make this remote-controlled boat a real gem on the waves. The unique motif also ensures excellent visibility of the boat in all conditions. For maximum ease of service, the entire drive block is removable. It contains all parts of the drive and control, i.e. the motor with controller and receiver with servo. Just loosen two screws and the whole module can be removed from the hull and the necessary servicing can be carried out conveniently on the table. The batteries are located on the sides of the hull and are held in place by quick-release straps. The RC model of the M41 has a low centre of gravity and therefore a high level of stability.

Velineon 540XML brushless motor

Of course, this model features waterproof construction of all components, which are sized to minimize the possibility of water ingress. The receiver is housed in a box with sealing O-rings, which are also fitted to the steering servo. The Velineon 540XML water-cooled AC motor has a specially designed cooling jacket in which water circulates. The Velineon 540XML motor has a balanced rotor, high speed bearings and a neodymium magnet with high thermal stability.

Powerful controller

The VXL-6s Marine BL is a waterproof, water-cooled controller with the ability to power 6-8 cells. NiMH or 2-6 Art. LiPol. It has three programmable profiles, Sport, Race and Training. Sport has 100% forward, 15% reverse, Race only 100% forward and Training 50% forward, 15% reverse. Thermal overload protection and overcurrent protection are a matter of course.

Traxxas TQi RC kit with Bluetooth ready

Traxxas has a brand new range of dual channel RC kits with Bluetooth connectivity. Bluetooth module (sold separately), allows you to connect your RC model to the Traxxas Link graphical app, which you can install on your Smartphone for free. The Traxxas Link app for Apple devices is available for free on the AppStore, and the app for Google Android devices is free on GooglePlay. Traxxas Link App is a powerful application that gives you total control over the operation and tuning of your Traxxas RC model with stunning visuals and absolute precision settings. Traxxas Link can display telemetry data, which provides a real-time model, such as speed, revolutions, temperature, battery voltage and model tilt. (The telemetry provided varies according to the specific model type). You can share RC model settings, create as many profiles as you want for a specific track or user, e.g. Kids. All in an app with brilliant graphics, which is a standard feature from Traxxas.

Traxxas Stability Management

Traxxas Stability Management (TSM) allows you to experience not only performance, speed, acceleration and cornering at extreme speeds, but guarantees much easier management and control of the model. The 3-axis MEMS sensors in the receiver continuously sense the position of the model and gently correct the model to your desired direction.
