The high-performance red Traxxas Slash 1:16 RTR RC car is suitable for garden use and light terrain. It is designed on the platform of the proven E-Revo models and features a special suspension system with shock absorbers safely housed in the model and levered via rocker arms. Thanks to its oversized DC motor, the model's performance will simply amaze you. The model is fully equipped like the large models, including oil-filled shock absorbers, a slipper clutch, and differentials. A battery and USB-C charger are included, so you can start having fun right away with speeds of up to 35km/h. This small RC model can also handle rugged terrain, thanks to the GTR oil-filled shock absorbers. The shocks contain sealing rings that minimise oil leakage around the piston rod. The shock absorbers are fully adjustable; the spring preload can be conveniently changed using a nut on the shock, and the stiffness can be altered by changing the oil's viscosity.

Electronics and control
The red Traxxas Slash 1:16 RTR RC car has a waterproof Traxxas 2080A digital mini servo with a DC motor and nylon gears with 3kg.cm of torque. For water resistance, the servo box is fitted with a seal. The car model is equipped with a modified Titan 550 series 12T DC motor. The motor has 30% more power than conventional 540 motors. A rotor at the rear of the motor contains an impeller that forces air into the motor, effectively cooling it.
Chassis and shock absorbers
The chassis construction is lightweight yet strong. The tyres are glued to the discs, and the high-quality rubber compound of the tyres ensures excellent grip on all surfaces. The model uses a suspension system where the shock absorbers are safely housed in the chassis. The swing of the arm is transferred to the shock absorber via a push rod and rocker arm. A single-speed gearbox on the model serves to increase the torque transferred to the wheels. The gearbox includes a slipper clutch, which allows for nimble acceleration but also absorbs the motor's impact, thus protecting the model's entire drivetrain. The model is equipped with front and rear differentials, which ensure power distribution between the individual wheels just like in a real car. The lock-up of the differential is determined by the viscosity of the oil in the differential. The lock-up can therefore be changed by replacing the oil in the differential with a thicker or thinner one.
Two-channel Traxxas TQ transmitter
The model is controlled by a two-channel proportional Traxxas TQ steering wheel RC transmitter, operating in the 2.4GHz band for interference-free operation. The transmitter is powered by 4 AA batteries. There is a rotary knob on the transmitter that trims the steering—so the model drives straight when the steering wheel is in the centre position. The battery status in the transmitter is indicated by an LED. On the transmitter, you can set reverse on the throttle and steering channels. The package includes a NiMH battery and a modern, fully automatic 20W USB-C charger. The charger allows you to charge 5 to 7-cell NiMH batteries with a charging current of up to 2A. The USB-C charger can be powered by any USB adapter and connected with a USB-C cable. Three programmable driving modes
The model has a Traxxas XL-2.5 LVD DC controller, providing fully proportional throttle, reverse, and brake control. The electronics use modern MOSFET transistors with high efficiency and low losses for perfect performance. The controller is waterproof and suitable for all conditions. The controllers can be calibrated, set to 3 driving modes, and NiMH or LiPo battery types. It has low voltage detection and a built-in 6V BEC, easy one-button setup, and a colour indicator LED. The model is equipped with a training mode that limits the power to 50% and allows forward, reverse, and brake. Sport mode allows forward, reverse, and braking. Race mode allows forward and brake; reverse is not available.
