The Witcher: Destiny's Journey offers three fully localised expansions, each bringing new features that enhance the gameplay experience. "Triss and the Grain of Truth" introduces a new playable character, the witch Triss Ranuncul, and a brand new story scenario set in the house of the mysterious Nivellen. New mechanics, gameplay dilemmas and original interactions that expand the core narrative await you. The "Legendary Monsters" module will allow players to join forces in co-op mode to face deadly enemies that can turn the tide of the game. Each monster has unique abilities and the game turns into a dramatic battle for survival. "Wild Hunt" is an asymmetrical expansion in which one player takes on the role of a dark leader and his generals. The other players form an alliance and try to counter this formidable opponent. The mode brings tension, strategy and new story branching. Each expansion adds new mechanics, characters and story paths, and greatly increases replayability.
History of the game and its creators
The author of the board game The Witcher: Path of Destiny, released globally in late 2025, is Łukasz Woźniak, the Polish game designer behind such games as Valhalla and Titans. Agata Skowronek, Anna Podedworna and Yama Orce contributed to the artwork, giving the game a unique atmosphere. The original publisher is Go On Board in partnership with CD Projekt RED, the licensee of The Witcher World.
