Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are four turtle mutant brothers. Their story was first published as a comic but the real Ninja Turtles craze started in the 90's with the TV series adaptation. Ninja Turtles' adoptive father and mentor, Master Splinter, trained them in ninjitsu and named them after renaissance artists. Together with their friend April, they fight crime in Manhattan — whose sewage became their home. The worst criminal is the Shredder, backed up by his Foot Clan.
