Used for symptomatic treatment of acute and chronic diarrhea
Imodium® Plus 2 mg/125 mg tablets offer an effective solution and are used for the symptomatic treatment of acute diarrhea when acute diarrhea is accompanied by gas-related discomfort including bloating, cramping and increased bowel gas.

The new medicinal product Imodium® Plus contains a unique combination of two medicinal substances on the Czech market: loperamide hydrochloride and simethicone. Provides relief from acute diarrhea when acute diarrhea is accompanied by discomfort associated with flatulence including bloating, cramping and increased bowel gas. Imodium® Plus can be taken by adults, adolescents and children from 12 years of age.
What are the most common causes of acute diarrhea?
Diarrhoea is described as an alteration of normal bowel peristalsis and is usually defined by the occurrence of three or more acute thin and watery stools in one day. Try to stop diarrhea immediately and prevent dehydration of your body!

Use of Imodium 2 mg
Adults 18 years and over: Take 2 tablets as an initial dose, followed by one tablet after each subsequent loose stool. Take a maximum of 4 tablets per day, for a maximum of 2 days.
Notice
If clinical improvement does not occur within 48 hours, Imodium® Plus must be discontinued. The patient should be advised to consult a physician. Over-the-counter medicine. Do not give tablets to children under 12 years of age. This medicine may cause dizziness, feeling tired or drowsy. If this occurs, do not drive or operate machinery. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you think, that you might be pregnant, or you're planning to get pregnant, check with your doctor or pharmacist first, before taking this medicine. Imodium Plus is not recommended if you are breastfeeding. A small amount of the drug may pass into breast milk. Read the full package leaflet carefully before taking this medicine.
Storage
Keep this product out of sight and reach of children. Do not use this product after the expiry date stated on the box and blister after EXP. The expiry date shall be the last day of the month indicated. This medicine does not require any special storage conditions. Do not dispose of any medicines in wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of products you no longer use. These measures help protect the environment.
Ingredients
One tablet contains loperamides hydrochloridum 2 mg and simethiconum equivalent to dimethiconum 125 mg. Excipients are calcium hydrogen phosphate, microcrystalline cellulose, acesulfame potassium, vanilla flavouring (contains propylene glycol, maltodextrin, ethanol and benzyl alcohol), sodium salt of carboxymethyl starch (type A) and stearic acid.
