Instructions for use
- Installation
- First, clean the screen using the cleaning wipe and cloth. Use the dust removal sticker to ensure the surface is completely clean.
- Place the alignment tool with the grooved side down, align it with the camera's release mechanism, and attach it to the touchscreen.
- Remove the protective film from the double-sided adhesive layer on the back of the Flip Screen Hood. Slowly attach the hood to the alignment tool, ensuring correct orientation, and then remove the alignment tool.
- Press the hood firmly to ensure it is correctly attached to the camera.
- To use, open the central part of the hood with your finger, which will automatically open the side parts as well. Check that all parts are held firmly in place. When not in use, first fold the side parts, and then close the central part.
- Removal
- Carefully insert the included tool between the hood and the flip-up screen and gently separate the hood by moving it along the edge.
- Note: If the magnetic base is damaged or deformed during removal, it is not advisable to reuse it.
Important notes on use
If the Flip Screen Hood shifts during installation, you can use the included tool to gently lift one corner, adjust its position, and press it firmly again. It is not recommended to remove the hood completely. The hood is not intended for repeated installation. After removal, dust or debris may reduce adhesion, which could cause it to become loose during use. For removal, always use the included tool and follow the manufacturer's instructions. Do not use sharp objects, such as knives or screwdrivers, and avoid excessive force to prevent damage to the camera. The accessory contains magnets, so it must be kept at a sufficient distance from pacemakers and other sensitive devices. The hood is not suitable for use during high-intensity sports or activities with significant vibrations, such as road cycling or off-road riding, as it could become detached and damaged. It is recommended to use genuine Insta360 accessories. The manufacturer is not liable for damage caused by the use of non-genuine accessories.
