IAdapt Navigation

The iAdapt 1.0 navigation ensures perfect cleaning of your flat or house. Roomba monitors the area with dozens of sensors and intelligently reacts to the shape and size of the room in combination with 40 predefined movements. Its navigation guides the robot across the entire space, along the walls, around the furniture, and underneath it so that the cleaning result is perfect.

Three-stage cleaning system

The unsurpassable cleaning quality of Roomba robotic vacuum cleaners is based on a highly functional three-stage cleaning system. Within this system, Roomba literally removes dirt from every corner of the room and sucks it into a collecting container, whether it is cleaning hard floors or carpets.

1. Rotating side brush

With the presence of a side brush, Roomba can efficiently clean the area around the furniture, along the walls, corners of rooms and other areas difficult to access.

Two counter-rotating brushes

The robot uses the principle of two rotating brushes that are located in the robot's cleaning head. With them, Roomba efficiently collects dust and larger impurities from the floor. When working on hard floors, the brush pushes the dirt directly into the dust container. When cleaning carpets, the brush first brushes the carpet fibres to help embedded dirt reach the surface and then a rubber brush pushes it into the dust container.

3. Suction motor

Fine dust suction is ensured by a powerful suction engine. Air filtration is provided by the AeroVac filter.  

Delayed cleaning function

The Delayed Cleaning feature enables you to choose the day and time you want the robot to start cleaning. Roomba does not mind darkness nor obstacles, it will always clean thoroughly even when you are not present. The IRobot can be set to clean every day at a different time. For instance, you can set it to clean three times a week and then the robot will perform the cleaning at scheduled times week by week. This keeps the floor clean at all times. Its sensors guarantee that it will not fall down the stairs.

Acoustic detection of impurities

The Roomba 680 vacuum cleaner is equipped with the Dirt Detect system that detects excessively polluted areas with acoustic sensors, Roomba then cleans these areas intensely. The vacuum cleaner comes with a large 0.5l AeroVac dust container with a microfibre filter that captures even the smalles dust particles.
