The Izoxis socket strip lets you power up to three electrical appliances simultaneously from a 230V, 50Hz AC mains supply. It is suitable for use in homes, workshops, and offices. The construction of lacquered aluminium and zinc alloy provides a solid foundation for everyday use. The total weight of the device is 1.608kg. The 1.9m flexible power cord makes it easy to connect to a mains socket under a desktop. Thanks to its low profile, the top metal frame blends almost seamlessly with the furniture surface. The flat milled edge limits the build-up of dust, crumbs and other debris under the edge of the cover, while also making routine cleaning of the work surface easier. Construction
The pop-up panel features three Type F mains sockets with Schuko safety earthing in a 3P+Z configuration. The all-black housing, made of powder-coated aluminium and a durable zinc alloy, can withstand a continuous load of up to 3300W when multiple appliances are connected. A mechanical button on the top cover controls the opening of the entire block, and the lid protects the interior from dirt when the sockets are not in use. The metal materials enhance the mechanical wear resistance of the entire mechanism.
Installation method
Installation is done directly into a desk top, kitchen worktop, or workshop bench. For mounting, simply prepare a 22×10.8×6.5cm hole in a 25mm thick surface. The device can be positioned vertically or horizontally depending on the layout of the specific piece of furniture. After inserting it into the prepared cutout, simply secure the module with screws or adhesive. This method eliminates the need to drill into walls and reduces mess during installation.
Operation
The opening system works by mechanically pressing the integrated button on the top cover. When pressed, the connector panel automatically and smoothly rises above the level of the work surface. After you have finished powering your devices, simply push the module back down until it is flush with the surrounding surface. This closing mechanism operates smoothly, protects the contacts from dust, and keeps the work surface clear of obstructive cables.
Mains connection and interior use
The entire block of three sockets is powered by a flexible three-core cable with a conductor cross-section of 3×1.5mm². The 1.9m cable draws electricity from a standard socket located under furniture or on a wall. Commissioning does not require any professional intervention in the building's electrical wiring or the connection of terminal blocks. Simply plug the device into an existing network for an instant power supply to your appliances.
