The JBL MA710 is the first model in JBL's AV amplifier line to offer 7 channels of amplification and is compatible with Dolby ATMOS and DTS-X surround sound technology. The MA710 has the ambition to become the true center of your home entertainment, offering a simple 7.2 or 5.2.2 sound system solution that comprehensively addresses the poor audio quality of thin LED/OLED TVs, soundbars and similar devices, including lack of functional flexibility and poor connectivity. The dominant element is the glass front panel design, which is fingerprint-free, with minimal controls and a large, clear display. Depending on which colour better suits the interior style or connected devices, you can choose between traditional black and modern white front panel glass. A wide range of speakers is also available in matching designs for two or multi-channel home theatre systems. It's a perfectly designed and technologically aligned home entertainment solution that fits perfectly into any space.
TECHNOLOGY AND CONCEPTIVITY
The MA710 is designed on a technology platform focused on the high sonic performance of Class-D amplifiers, powering 7 channels with 110 W RMS at 8 Ω or 160 W RMS at 4 Ω. Featuring 6 HDMI inputs (3× for 8K video + 3× for 4K video) with video pass-through capability even in standby mode and 1 HDMI output with eARC audio return channel support, the MA710 enables seamless integration with smart TVs, game consoles, streaming, set-top boxes, etc. Other digital devices can be connected to the optical or coaxial input, and you can also use your analogue devices, for which there are two line-level inputs and one phono-level input for connecting a turntable. With a pair of SUB OUT outputs, up to two active subwoofers can be connected to the MA710 to fill the room with tones from the lowest end of the spectrum and add explosive dynamics to movie action scenes. The fixed level analog signal for the amplifier in the second zone is routed to the RCA output connectors of ZONE 2. For added flexibility, the MA710 offers the ability to configure the two rear surround channels to provide a stereo downmix from the main zone to a secondary location in the home = Party mode, or to use these channels to bi-amplify the front main channels (left and right).
DOLBY ATMOS AND DTS-X sound = MAXIMUM REALISTIC EXPERIENCE
With native Dolby ATMOS and DTS-X decoding and 24-bit 192kHz high-resolution DACs, the MA710 can transform an ordinary living room into a true cinema with powerful immersive sound. Depending on the space available, it is possible to create an enveloping soundstage in a 7.2 channel system, or use the option of redirecting two channels to the position of the upper ATMOS speakers (5.2.2 system), which can be positioned as front or centre. These channels can direct the sound towards the listener from the ceiling, creating immersive sound coming from all directions, just as the sound masters of the leading movie studios intended for their blockbuster films. For the top two channels, you can use ceiling-mounted speakers or simply choose the special ATMOS JBL STAGE 240H modules, which can be placed on top of compatible front speakers (e.g. JBL STAGE 260F and 280F). The sound will then be emitted from the speakers at an angle to the ceiling, from which the sound waves will be reflected to the listener. It is simple, aesthetic and no structural intervention in the ceiling structure is required. Watching Netflix movies and playing the latest games will never be the same again.

Proper calibration of a multi-channel system is the key to a flawless and perfect sound experience. The MA710 can easily be precisely matched to the listening room in a short time and without complicated setup. This is done with the free Harman EzSet EQ calibration app. Using simple steps in the app, the user can measure each speaker and apply automatic EQ settings.
