RWANDA KIRAMBO comes from the Kirambo washing station in the Western Province of Rwanda, near the shores of Lake Kivu. The station works with hundreds of small-scale farmers who grow the traditional Red Bourbon variety in the ideal conditions of the Rwandan mountains. Thanks to the volcanic soil, regular rainfall and meticulous washed processing, the result is a coffee with typical purity, elegance and pronounced sweetness.

After harvesting, the coffee cherries are carefully sorted, washed and then dried for up to 30 days on African beds. During the drying process, they are regularly turned and protected from the overnight humidity, which helps to preserve a clean and balanced flavour profile. The result is a cup that combines fresh fruitiness with a delicate sweetness and a long, elegant aftertaste. The flavour reveals notes of cranberries and lime, complemented by an interesting hint of cola nut and hops. The entire profile is rounded off by a delicate caramel sweetness that brings a pleasant balance to the cup. The body is juicy and silky, the acidity is fresh and citrusy, and the aftertaste is long, clean and elegant.
