Complete blade care in three steps
The core of the system consists of two sharpening modules with ceramic stones, which handle the main part of the sharpening. The first stage, with a grit equivalent of 1000, restores and shapes the basic edge. The second, finer stage, with a grit equivalent of 4000, smooths the edge and prepares it for the final step. This involves polishing on a leather strop with 9-micron diamond dust. This process removes any microscopic imperfections, giving the blade a smooth and sharp cutting edge.
