The KanDao Meeting Pro 2 webcam is an all-in-one device for holding video conferences in meeting rooms. It integrates dual fisheye lenses, eight MEMS microphones and a 10W speaker. A built-in AI chip processes video and audio locally without the need for an external computer. The device captures a full 360° view of its surroundings and automatically focuses on the active speaker using voice and facial analysis. Users can operate the system in a standalone mode with the Android operating system or in a standard USB mode when connected to a computer.

Two 195° lenses work together to capture the entire room in 360° with minimal distortion. The optical system offers 4K video at up to 3840×2160px resolution at 30 fps and supports HDR, which helps maintain balanced details in both light and dark parts of the scene, even in backlit or low-light conditions. Global View, Gallery View, Speaker View and Forum View modes are available for different types of meetings. You can also lock and zoom the view, and there is an adaptive Smart Panorama Bar for a clear display of participants.

Local processing with artificial intelligence

The built-in AI chip ensures fast image processing and smart functions directly on the device. The AI Smart View function automatically adjusts the window layout according to the number of people present and can display up to eight participants simultaneously. In addition, AI Ignore Zone recognises and filters visible displays in the room in real time, reducing distracting elements in the image while helping to protect sensitive information shown on surrounding screens.

Advanced audio

An array of eight MEMS microphones captures human voices from up to 18 feet, or approximately 5.5 metres, away. Intelligent audio algorithms suppress ambient noise, and AI Dereverberation technology reduces echo and reverberation that can occur in spacious rooms or areas with glass walls. A built-in 10W Hi-Fi speaker ensures clear and easily audible voice reproduction. Additionally, the Bluetooth SpeakerPhone mode lets you use the device as a microphone and speaker when connected to a phone, tablet or laptop.

SmartNote assistant and automatic transcription

The SmartNote assistant can create real-time transcriptions of spoken words and supports translations into more than 20 languages. After the meeting, it automatically prepares a structured summary with important information and key points. The AI Content Recap function lets you quickly jump from the transcript to a specific moment in the video recording, so you can easily find the part of the meeting you need. Meeting Pro 2 also supports local meeting recording without needing a connected computer. Recordings can be saved to the internal 64GB storage or to a microSD card with a capacity of up to 1TB.

Connectivity

Kandao Meeting Pro 2 offers dual-band Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and an RJ-45 network port for wired connections. The HDMI output lets you connect a monitor or projector and use standalone mode without a computer. A USB-C output is for transferring video and audio when connected to a computer, another USB-C connector provides power, and a USB-A port lets you connect a mouse or keyboard, for example. In USB mode, the device is compatible with Zoom, GoToMeeting, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Tencent Meeting, Slack, DingTalk and other services that support USB cameras. In standalone mode, it supports wireless screen sharing from a laptop, phone or tablet, and with the optional AirLink adapter, also a wireless BYOD connection with video and audio transmission. It can be controlled using buttons on the device, a Bluetooth remote control or the Kandao Meeting App. The Meeting Pro 2 can be linked to another Meeting Pro 2 unit or Meeting Ultra devices via a single USB cable to extend video and audio coverage for larger meeting spaces; for audio expansion, it also supports linking with Meeting Pro and Meeting S devices.

Data security and easy management

The device's AI algorithms work locally and offline, so they do not require online processing of user data. Kandao Meeting Pro 2 does not store or transmit private information or user behaviour data, nor does it retain IP addresses or location data. One-step log-out is available, Bluetooth can be disabled, and the device does not provide an open API. For physical security, there is a security lock slot, and a practical clip helps to securely fasten and organise connected cables.
