Take a photo together with Kidizoom
Camera Mode You can take casual shots, self-portraits or photos with various fun effects. The lens change button makes it easy to switch between the front and rear cameras. To use the digital zoom, turn the zoom wheel. To take a group photo with your friends, select Shared photo mode. Auto Portrait Mode lets you take selfies with ease. Just stay in front of the lens and wait for the camera to beep three times quickly.
Make a video and record your voice with Kidizoom Duo MX 5.0
In Video mode, you can shoot classic videos or use a variety of fun animations and colour filters. Popular video effects include cartoon effects, motion animations and animations accompanied by music. In Voice Recorder mode, you can record your own voice for up to 10 minutes in a single file, and you can add various effects to these recordings to change your voice.
Kidizom camera can also handle photo effects and picture modes
To add strikes, frames, fun face effects, kaleidoscopic effects, or motion-activated effects, use the left or right button on the direction selector. Then select an effect or press the star button to access the next effect menu and select another. To change or add a colour filter, turn the rotary wheel in camera mode - this filter will affect all other selected effects. In "3 photos in a row" mode, you can take three photos in quick succession with a single press of the shutter button. In this mode, the flash and colour filters will be turned off to achieve the fastest and most uninterrupted shooting.
Fun apps, games and parental lock
Shake Photo - a fun app that adds effects to photos by shaking the camera. Face Analysis lets you take a photo of your friend and the app tells you how smart they are. In game mode, up to 5 different games can be played, controlled only by moving the camera, so kids won't get bored. Parents will appreciate the device's high durability and the ability to set a parental lock that limits the amount of time children spend playing or disables gaming altogether.
Main differences between Kidizoom DUO 5.0 and DUO MX 5.0: The MX model is an updated version of the original model. Apart from updated drivers and games, the DUO MX 5.0 is completely localized into Czech or Slovak language (can be switched in settings). The original model offered English only.
