  • Photocatalytic filter
    • removes toxic substances in addition to viruses and bacteria
    • removes impurities using UV radiation
    • may create large amounts of ozone


• air purifiers are sometimes equipped with an ioniser, which raises air filtration effectiveness

Purifier output

• should be appropriate for the size of the room in which you are planning to use it
• the purifier should be able to filter all the air in the room about 2.5 times per hour, or 4 times if you are buying it for an allergy sufferer
• the mathematical formula for calculating the airflow output  (m³/h) is the following: floor area (m²⁾ × room height (m) × 2.5 (4)

Noise levels

• inherently connected to the overall output; the more powerful the machine, the more noise it makes
• particularly important if you want to leave it on overnight, max. 30 db

Features

• Power control - allows you to reduce its output at night, making it whisper-quiet when you need it
• Detection of impurities - sensors monitor the air quality, allowing the purifier to adjust its output depending on the current conditions
