LaCie 8big Pro5 256TB
LaCie 8big Pro5 256TB
LaCie 8big Pro5 is a premium eight-slot RAID storage solution with Thunderbolt 5, designed for creative professionals, video editors, and studios who need maximum speed, capacity, and reliability for the most demanding production workflows. The Thunderbolt 5 interface with 120Gbps bandwidth ensures transfer speeds of up to 2800MB/s in RAID0 and 2500MB/s in RAID5 mode – enough power for smooth 8K RAW video editing, transferring large project files, and bottleneck-free multistream workflows. A capacity of 256TB across eight enterprise-class drives, scalable up to 256TB, and support for hardware RAID 0/1/5/6/10/50/60, JBOD, and multi-RAID configurations provide maximum flexibility for any professional scenario. A single Thunderbolt 5 cable not only transfers data at 120Gbps but also delivers up to 140W of power to a laptop or high-performance workstation. Three USB-C ports (1 host + 2 daisy-chain Thunderbolt 5 + 1 USB 20Gbps) allow for building complex studio setups with support for up to 7.68PB of total storage when connected to a Mac Studio. A robust aluminium enclosure with a handle, hot-swappable drives, LaCie RAID Manager and Toolkit software, a two-month Adobe Creative Cloud Pro membership, and a five-year warranty with Rescue Data Recovery Services complete the picture of a professional, no-compromise storage solution. A Thunderbolt 5 cable and power cables are, of course, included in the box.
