Latino Café Coffee Cuba
bean, 100 g
Cuban coffee is characterized by a full-bodied taste with a noticeable chocolate and caramel colour. Unlike other Central American coffees, it does not contain as much acidity, thanks to the fact that it is grown at low altitudes. Its sweet aroma evokes honey and cane sugar. On close examination, one can detect tones of smoke and Cuban rum in its taste. Whether you want to prepare your coffee in a French press, on a filter or in a coffee machine, this coffee is always a great choice. Cuban coffee is also an excellent choice when preparing blends. The packaging of this coffee will definitely not disappoint you.

Cuba
The cultivation of the coffee tree in Cuba began in the 18th century with the arrival of missionaries and French immigrants from Haiti. Cuba is usually most associated with products such as cigars or excellent rum. Many people will therefore be surprised to learn that the country also produces excellent coffee beans. As the largest island in the Greater Antilles archipelago, Cuba has favourable natural conditions for growing coffee trees. The climate is tropical and reasonably humid. The production of coffee beans in the country is directly dependent on the processing of competing raw materials such as sugarcane. It would be astonishing if Cuba did not produce excellent coffee to go with its fine cigars. The origin of coffee in Cuba began in the 18th century with the arrival of the French from Haiti. Cuba is the largest island nation in the Caribbean, covering over 100,000 square kilometres.
Freshness is an absolute priority
Coffee is definitely not the kind of thing that would sit on a shelf for weeks and months waiting for someone to finally buy it and ship it. Arabica is imported to the Czech Republic from selected destinations green and in original jute bags, because they put a real emphasis on authenticity. They roast the coffee for as short a time as possible before shipping to ensure you're drinking fresh coffee.
How do you roast Arabica?
They always try to get the most out of green arabica because they know that their customers have refined tastes and want to indulge in quality coffee. For most of the imported arabicas, we have found medium roasting to suppress the acidity characteristic of lighter roasts and, on the contrary, to bring out the typical coffee aroma with hints of nuts, chocolate or caramel. At the same time, this roasting process preserves a certain smoothness and lightness of the coffee, so don't expect any earthy and dense notes that would distract from the gourmet experience.
