Multi-Protocol Support
The Lenovo Yoga Pen 2 supports several touch technologies, specifically AES3.0, AES2.0, AES1.0, WGP, MPP2.0, MPP2.6 and USI2.0. This means it can be used with compatible devices that support any of these protocols. When using AES3.0, the stylus offers up to 8,192 levels of pressure sensitivity, allowing you to more accurately capture differences in pressure when writing or drawing. For other supported protocols, the sensitivity reaches up to 4,096 levels, depending on the firmware settings.
Power and Battery Life
The built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery provides enough power for extended use. In AES1.0 mode, it lasts for up to 160 hours of continuous operation on a single charge. You can recharge it via the USB-C connector, and charging from 0 to 100% takes approximately 1.5 hours at room temperature. An integrated LED indicator shows the current battery status.
Magnetic Attachment and Stylus
The Lenovo Yoga Pen 2 and the included protective case both support magnetic attachment, making them easy to store and carry with your compatible device. The stylus itself has a diameter of 9.13mm, a length of 152mm, and a weight of 13.5g. The case measures 162 × 18.2 × 14.9mm and weighs approximately 26.2g. Its compact dimensions allow you to keep the pen handy when working at home, in the office, or on the go.
Tilt Detection and Pressure Points
Tilt detection support expands the stylus's capabilities, especially for drawing and other creative work. Compatible applications can work not only with pressure sensitivity but also with the angle at which you hold the pen to the display, adjusting the behaviour of the chosen tool accordingly. Combined with up to 8,192 levels of sensitivity when using the AES3.0 protocol, the Lenovo Yoga Pen 2 enables precise and natural sketching, drawing and handwriting.
