Levenhuk Discovery Nano Polar Digital

The Levenhuk Discovery Nano Polar Digital Microscope is a monocular biological microscope with a digital 0.3 MP camera. It can be used both for classical visual observations and for creating digital research archives. The camera allows you to display an image on an external screen, take photos and record research videos. The optical system includes a 10x wide-angle eyepiece and three achromatic lenses: 4×, 10× a 40×. The 40× magnification lens is equipped with a protective spring frame. The magnification range of the microscope is from 40× to 400×. Because the optics are made of glass, the instrument transmits a high-contrast, bright image, allowing you to study even the smallest details of samples.

Digital microscope with camera for easy detail capture

A 0.3 MP digital camera can be installed in place of the eyepiece and connected to a computer using a USB cable (included). The camera is powered by a USB cable that extends the capabilities of the microscope. The maximum image resolution is 640×480 pixels and video can be recorded at a high frame rate of 30 frames per second. Simple image processing is also available (adjusting brightness, image size, etc. ).

Educational publications about the microworld

The microscope also comes with the educational publication "The Invisible World". The colourful book explains all the complexities involved, such as the parts of a microscope and their functions, what bacteria and protozoa look like, what you can see in a drop of water and more, all in simple language. In addition to the theory, the book also describes interesting experiments that can be performed at home using the Levenhuk Discovery Nano digital microscope.
