Levenhuk Nelson 8 × 42 Monocular

The Levenhuk Nelson 8×42 marine monocular will be your faithful companion when studying distant objects in detail, calculating distance or determining direction. The optical instrument comes with a built-in rangefinder and compass. It is the perfect tool for lovers of fishing or trips at sea. You can see the scales of both auxiliary instruments in the eyepiece. All calculations are performed manually based on visual values. Using the rangefinder data and a special formula, you can calculate either the distance to an object of known size (height). Or if you know the size of the object, you can calculate its distance.

Lightweight 8×42 monocular with compass

The value of a fraction of a compass scale is 1°. The instrument indicates the direction to the object in degrees. North is 360°, south is 180°, east is 90° and west is 270°. The compass comes without illumination, so you need natural light to observe. The lightweight and compact instrument has a magnification of 8× and an aperture of 42 mm. The monocular's wide field of view (120 meters at a distance of 1000 meters) allows comfortable study of large objects. The optical elements are made of BaK-4 glass. Lenses with multiple anti-reflective coatings on all optical surfaces offer vivid and fresh images. Dioptric correction can be adjusted over a wide range.

Waterproof monocular with nitrogen filling

The waterproof body is made of tough and lightweight plastic. Nitrogen filling prevents fogging of the optics during rapid temperature changes. The monocular is recommended for use near water with the Levenhuk FS10 floating strap: this clear accessory will prevent the optical instrument from sinking or getting lost.
