Levenhuk New Skyline Plus 130/650 AZ-EQA Telescope

The Levenhuk New Skyline Plus 130/650 AZ-EQA telescope is a reflecting telescope ideal for observing deep-sky objects. Thanks to its parabolic primary mirror, it minimises optical distortion. The universal AZ-EQA alt-azimuth mount operates in both azimuthal and equatorial modes.

Optics for the perfect image

The telescope uses a Newtonian reflector optical design. Its parabolic primary mirror eliminates spherical aberration. With an f/5 focal ratio and a 130mm objective lens diameter, the telescope can gather enough light to view deep-sky objects. You can see stars up to a limiting stellar magnitude of 12.4, and all optical elements feature an anti-reflective coating to increase light transmission.

Mount and equipment

The telescope is set on a universal AZ-EQA mount, which combines two systems. In alt-azimuth mode, the telescope is easy to handle for general observation, while the equatorial mode makes it easier to track objects. The package includes two eyepieces, SUPER 10mm and SUPER 25mm, providing 65× and 26× magnification respectively. The entire setup stands on a height-adjustable aluminium tripod. Thanks to the standard 1.25mm focuser barrel diameter, you can purchase additional accessories, including a smartphone adapter.
