The Alcohol tester is one of the compulsory elements required in vehicles in some EU countries. When doing a measurement after the consumption of an alcoholic drink, wait for about 20 minutes for the alcohol to be absorbed into the digestive system, and for the alcohol residual in the mouth to disappear. Otherwise, measurements will be distorted.

Note : The deviation value is given in PERCENT (i.e. the percentage deviation from the actual measured value)
Example (with a deviation of 10%)
- with a measured value of 0.5‰, the deviation will be 0.05‰
- with a measured value of 2‰, the deviation will be 0.2‰.
It means that the deviation is 10% in both cases; it cannot be expressed unambiguously in per mille.
