Epilators use rotating tweezers / rolls to remove unwanted hair from the root, providing smooth skin for up to 4 weeks. Important parameters include the number of tweezers, the number of speeds, and the types of attachments.

Number of tweezers

range between 10 and 70
for beginners, it is advisable to choose an epilator with fewer tweezers (max. 25) in order for your skin to become accustomed to it.

Number of speeds

most epilators come with 2 speeds
higher speeds are more effective at removing tougher hairs and shaving legs
lower speeds are more suited for fine hair and shaving intimate areas

Types of attachments

for waxing, shaving intimate areas, lifting hairs
for sensitive skin, consider epilators with a massage attachment or cooling nozzle
