LIEBHERR CFc 1875

Liebherr's SmartFrost technology radically reduces ice build-up inside the LIEBHERR CFc 1875 chest freezer and on the frozen food itself – minimising the need for defrosting. The foamed-in evaporator coils around the freezer's interior, enabling rapid temperature exchange with low energy consumption. The freezer's inner walls are smooth and easy to clean. StopFrost technology prevents and significantly limits the formation of frost inside the chest freezer by quickly capturing and removing moisture from the air. It also prevents a vacuum from forming inside the appliance when the lid is closed, so you can immediately and effortlessly open the freezer lid again.

SuperFrost automatic function

Using the automatic SuperFrost function provides efficient and energy-saving freezing. At a temperature of -32°C, heat is quickly removed from newly added food – its temperature drops sharply and the crystallisation effect of water inside the food is significantly reduced. Once the freezing process is complete, or after a maximum of 65 hours of operation, the SuperFrost function is automatically switched off. The freezing process with the SuperFrost function preserves the maximum amount of nutrients in the stored food.

FrostProtect

To ensure optimal operation of the LIEBHERR CFc 1875 chest freezer even in low ambient temperatures, the appliances are designed with FrostProtect technology, making them specially suitable for low temperatures down to -15°C. If the ambient temperature drops below +10°C, they continue to work efficiently. This means the appliance can also be placed in unheated rooms, such as a garage.
