SmartFrost
Liebherr's SmartFrost technology drastically reduces frost build-up in the freezer's interior and on the frozen food itself. This minimises the need for defrosting. The foamed-in evaporator coils around the freezer's interior, enabling very fast temperature exchange with extremely low energy consumption. The freezer's inner walls are very smooth and therefore easy to clean.
StopFrost technology
StopFrost technology is excellent at preventing and significantly reducing frost build-up inside the chest freezer by quickly capturing and removing moisture from the air. Thanks to the StopFrost system, defrosting is needed much less often. When the chest freezer is opened, warm air can enter. The StopFrost system prevents a vacuum from forming inside the appliance when the lid is subsequently closed, so the freezer lid can be immediately and easily reopened without any effort.
Automatic SuperFrost
Using the automatic SuperFrost function results in highly effective and energy-efficient freezing. At -32°C, heat is quickly extracted from newly added food, their temperature drops rapidly, and the water crystallisation effect within the food is significantly reduced. Once the freezing process is complete, or after a maximum of 65 hours of operation, the SuperFrost function automatically switches off. The SuperFrost freezing process preserves the maximum amount of nutrients in the stored food.
