SmartFrost
Liebherr's SmartFrost technology drastically reduces frost build-up in the freezer's interior and on the frozen food itself. This minimises the need for defrosting. The foamed-in evaporator wraps around the freezer interior, enabling very fast temperature exchange with extremely low energy consumption. The freezer's interior walls are very smooth, making them easy to clean.
Automatic SuperFrost function
The automatic SuperFrost function provides highly efficient and energy-saving freezing. At a temperature of -32°C, heat is rapidly extracted from newly added food—its temperature drops sharply and the water crystallisation effect inside the food is significantly reduced. As soon as the freezing process is complete, or after a maximum of 65 hours of operation, the SuperFrost function switches off automatically. This SuperFrost freezing process preserves the maximum amount of nutrients in the stored food.
FrostSafe
With FrostSafe, the extra-high, removable storage boxes are compact and completely sealed all around. This means frost doesn't escape as quickly when the appliance is opened. The transparent fronts of the boxes guarantee an optimal overview of the stored frozen products.
VarioSpace
In all freezers with NoFrost or SmartFrost technology, the VarioSpace variable storage solution means the storage boxes and the glass shelves between them can be easily removed to create the space you need. VarioSpace is a simple solution for quickly making room for bulky items, such as a whole turkey.
Fixed door mounting and reversible door hinge
The furniture door is mounted directly onto the appliance door, which bears its entire weight. The furniture door is not connected to the cabinet body with hinges. The LIEBHERR SUIG 1514 built-in freezer is supplied from the factory with the door hinged on the right as standard. The option to reverse the door hinge helps with perfect spatial integration and matching your kitchen's interior.
VarioSockel
The base design of under-counter models allows for height and depth adjustment to match the kitchen furniture. All four adjustable supports can be set from the front within a height range of 60mm. In addition, the ventilation grille can be adjusted to the front of the kitchen unit within a range of 55mm.
