The DNA in each cell of the body has to face up to 10,000 oxidative influences per day, leading to various oxidative DNA lesions. Chlorophyllin has been studied for its antioxidant and protective properties, which suspend DNA adduction. In molecular genetics, a DNA adduct refers to a segment of DNA bound to cancer-causing substances, and adduction can lead to the development of cancer cells. As an antioxidant, chlorophyllin helps protect mitochondria and acts as a preventative against inevitable aflatoxin exposure. Aflatoxins are classified as so-called mycotoxins because they are produced by microscopic filamentous fungi or moulds. Chlorophyllin is a compound derived from a green dye found in plants known as chlorophyll. Research has shown that chlorophyllin has protective and antioxidant properties and helps the body defend itself against the effects of harmful chemicals on DNA.

Dosage

The recommended daily dose is one capsule three times with meals or as recommended by a physician.
