The MaceMaker Hailstorm SanMai set contains three high-quality, reliable, and stylish kitchen knives with Damascus steel blades. This thoughtfully curated set includes a Chef, Santoku, and Utility knife. The ideal cut is provided by the sandwich blade construction, made using Japanese SanMai technology – at the core is a VG-10 steel cutting 'razor blade', protected on both sides by a strong layer of Damascus steel. This combination of materials gives the knives long-lasting sharpness and resistance to corrosion, wear, and impact. The Damascus steel, which consists of two different types of steel with different shades of colour, provides an attractive appearance. On all knives, the blade is set into a comfortable solid wood handle with a steel bolster. The MaceMaker Hailstorm SanMai kitchen knives are not intended for the dishwasher.
