Magnesium/Vitamin C Pharmafit 250 mg effervescent tablet 20
A preparation containing magnesium, which is essential for the proper function of the nervous system and muscles, forbone, teeth and cartilage. Without consulting a physician, the product may be used when magnesium intake is reduced due to inadequatenutrition. On the advice of a doctor, the product is used in the treatment of magnesium deficiency conditions and their prevention.
Dosage and method of use
Always take this medicine exactly as directed in the package leaflet or as directed by yourdoctor or pharmacist. If you are unsure, consult your doctor or pharmacist. Unless otherwise recommended by a physician, adults take 1 effervescent tablet 2-3 times daily. Tablets are takendissolved in a glass (approx. 200 ml) of water. 2 hours before and 2 hours after taking the product, do not eat dairyproducts and do not drink milk. Do not take for more than 10 days without consulting a physician. The product is not intended for children and adolescents under 18 years of age
Contraindications
Tell your doctor or pharmacist about any medicines you are taking that you have recentlyyou have been taking or may be taking. The effects of Pharmavit Magnesium/Vitamin C and other medicines taken at the same time mayinteract with each other. Magnesium oxide reduces the absorption of tetracycline antibiotics, iron salts andsodium fluoride. Between the administration of any of these substances and the administration of Magnesium/vitamin CPharmavit, at least 3 hours must elapse. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you think, that you might be pregnant, or you're planning to get pregnant, advisewith your doctor or pharmacist first, before taking this medicine. The product can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding, but its use must be decided by a doctor,who will also determine the dose and duration of administration.
Notice
Do not take other mineral-containing products or other over-the-counter medicines at the same time without a recommendationdoctor's advice. If you have kidney problems, ask about taking Magnesium/vitamin CPharmavit with your doctor, as patients with renal impairment may have decreased magnesium excretionby the kidneys may cause accumulation of magnesium. Kidney stones may occur with prolonged administration of high doses. 2/3Magnesium levels should be monitored when higher doses are given for a long time. With prolonged administration, it should be discontinued gradually.
Storage
Store at temperatures up to 25 °C. Store in a tightly closed tube to protect the product frommoisture. Use within 20 days after first opening. Keep this product out of sight and reach of children. Do not use this product after the expiry date stated on the packaging after "Use by". The expiry date shall be the last day of the month indicated. Do not dispose of any medicines in wastewater or household waste. Ask yourpharmacist how to dispose of products you no longer use.
