Marantz CD6006 Black

The Marantz CD6006 CD player is full of improvements that provide you with an even better sound. It can handle CDs, CD-Rs and CD-RWs as well as compressed MP3, WMA, and AAC files. The front USB port also allows you to directly connect your iPod or iPhone digitally and play back its content at top quality. However, the key advantage of the player is the improved reproduction of high quality media. Marantz's engineers also added a massive metal bottom plate with vibration-proof pads. Economical users will enjoy the reduced standby power consumption.

HDAM SA2 for A Unique Sound

Marantz has developed its own discrete PCBs replacing standard integrated circuits. These HDAMs are composed of discrete components with short and mirrored paths of the right and left channels. It performs the same function as an operational amplifier with common integrated circuits but many times overcomes them in terms of overcurrent and noise suppression, which is reflected in its much more dynamic, accurate and detailed rendition.

Symmetric Signal Paths

In order to achieve the best performance, the signal paths must be short, direct and mirror-symmetrical. The CD player design from Marantz ensures an improved stereo image with almost perfect symmetry of the left and right channel configurations.

For True Audiophiles

Audio EX(clusive) also enhances the sound quality by turning off various functions that are not being used, such as digital output and playback speed control. The Auto Music Scan (AMS) feature lets you quickly search for music on a disc, and Quick Replay works to play back your favourite tracks on repeat. The gold-plated analogue cinch connectors minimise loss of quality on the contacts when transmitting the signal to the amplifier. Along with the streamlined headphone output, the audio player is equipped with an easy-to-read display and an upgraded remote control making it a complete and comprehensive device.
