Masticha in its most effective form
Masticha Strong&Pure is a premium masticha dietary supplement. It contains only the active ingredient without additives - the powder of the highest quality original Chios masticha. Masticha is a natural resin of the Chiosian variant of lentil. This natural phenomenon is characterised by its unique properties and globally unique location.
The ideal dose for the digestive system
- In each capsule there is 350 mg of mastic, which is the ideal weight for different dosage levels of volume.
- Taking into account the objective condition and subjective needs, we recommend taking 1 - 4 capsules per day, i.e. from 350 mg when taking a preventive dose for normal functioning of digestion to 1,400 mg during an intensive mastic cure.
- Individual capsules with mastic are packed separately in blisters.
- Just like the active ingredient in the capsule, the capsule packaging is made from purely plant-based raw materials suitable for vegetarians and vegans. HPMC capsules (hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose capsules) are used.
What to watch out for when using
- Do not combine the ointment with probiotics (live cultures), on the contrary, prebiotics are recommended. Take probiotics at least 4 hours apart. Masticha has strong antibacterial effects and significantly reduces the effectiveness of probiotics. The only exception is Masticha Vital, which is designed so that probiotics can be taken simultaneously with masticha. Thanks to capsule-in-capsule technology, it contains both ingredients separately.
- Masticha is a resin, and due to heat, the powder in the capsule can combine into a homogeneous mass. This has no effect on the effectiveness, but may reduce the digestibility of the capsule contents in some people. In this case, gently rub the capsule between your fingers just before use so that the ointment inside is at least partially crumbled.
- If you suffer from low blood pressure, take a maximum of 700 grams (2 capsules) for the first 5 days and check your blood pressure regularly. Masticha can reduce pressure.
Alternatives of pure ointments in capsules
Although Masticha Strong&Pure is the number one masticha dietary supplement, in some cases another product may be more suitable for you.
- If you have trouble swallowing the capsules, choose Masticha Comfort sachets with Masticha powder.
- Masticha Comfort is also suitable if you want the effectiveness of the ointment for oral health.

How to take Masticha
Do not take with meals - 30 minutes before or 2 hours after meals. Swallow one capsule at a time. Take a capsule with water or juice.
Recommended dosage
1-2 capsules per day.
Intense dosing:
2 capsules of Masticha Strong&Pure twice a day (morning and evening). The recommended intensive daily dose is 1400 mg (4 capsules) of undiluted ointment.
