Alveus Premium Iced Tea Set 4×100 g is a premium sprinkled tea set designed especially for the preparation of refreshing iced teas, which contains four different blends - Black Ice Tea, Green Ice Tea, Red Ice Tea and White Ice Tea. This set is great for those who want to mix different flavours of iced teas to suit the mood or occasion - from invigorating black tea with strawberry to delicate fruit and citrus combinations without caffeine. The combination of different tea bases ensures that both the lover of stronger flavours and those who prefer lighter, fruitier beverages can choose. Iced tea is generally a refreshing and hydrating drink suitable for hot days or as a healthy alternative to sweetened lemonades.
Ingredients
Black Ice Tea:
Black tea with strawberry and lemon - full of fruity and citrus taste
Green Ice Tea:
Sencha green tea with ginger, apple and lemongrass - gently spiced refreshing variant
Red Ice Tea:
Fruit rooibos / honeybush with mango, papaya and mint - sweet tropical taste without caffeine
White Ice Tea:
White tea with grapefruit, cranberry and citrus - an elegant, light fruity combination
Recommended dosage
According to your own needs. We recommend that the caffeine content of the tea is mainly guided by the type of tea.
Preparation
Classical method:
Pour 12-15 g of tea per 1 l of water (about 1-2 teaspoons per 250-300 ml). Pour boiling water (temperature depending on the type of tea - e.g. green 70-80 °C, black 100 °C). Infuse for 3-10 minutes depending on the intensity of the taste. Let cool and serve with ice, lemon or mint.
Cold brew method:
Pour the tea into cold water (~12-15 g/l). Leave to infuse for 6-8 hours in the fridge (ideally overnight). Pour over chilled and serve.
Notice
For green and white tea, use a lower water temperature and shorter steeping time to avoid an overly bitter taste.
Storage
Store in a dry and cool place away from direct light.
