BEBA EXPERT for FM 85 is a preparation for the enrichment of breast milk. For low birth weight infants. It is a food for special medical purposes.

Ingredients
Hydrolyzed milk whey protein, maltodextrin, medium-chain triglycerides (coconut and palm oil in varying proportions), calcium glycerophosphate, rapeseed oil, calcium salts of phosphoric acid, vitamins (sodium L-ascorbate, DL-α-tocopheryl acetate, nicotinamide, Calcium D-pantothenate, retinyl acetate, riboflavin, thiamine mononitrate, pyridoxine hydrochloride, folic acid, phylloquinone, cholecalciferol, D-biotin, cyanocobalamin), FISH oil, magnesium chloride, calcium chloride, sodium citrate, choline bitartrate, ferrous sulfate, sodium chloride, inositol, L-carnitine, zinc sulphate, taurine, copper sulphate, potassium iodide, manganese sulphate, sodium selenite.
Preparation
NOTICE: Always hold the baby in your arms when feeding. Do not leave it unattended or it may inhale nutrition and become waterlogged. Follow the preparation instructions exactly. Always wash your hands thoroughly before preparing food. Prepare just before feeding and feed immediately.
1. Prepare all feeding equipment (bottle, syringe or enteral feeding container) just before feeding.
2. If you use frozen breast milk, thaw slowly in the refrigerator (below 4 °C). Do not defrost in the microwave or at room temperature.
3. Shake or stir the breast milk before pouring it into the feeding container.
4. Pour only the necessary amount of breast milk to be enriched into the feeding container.
5. Warm breast milk to body temperature before adding BEBA EXPERT for FM 85. DO NOT use the microwave.
6. Add the required amount of BEBA EXPERTpro FM 85 to lukewarm breast milk (35-40 °C) and use the standard preparation procedure (1 g per 25 ml of breast milk) or the specifically calculated amount in case of different prescribed enrichment. Use only the included measuring cup and align the powder against the rim of the can.
7. Shake the fortified breast milk gently until the powder is completely dissolved. IMMEDIATELY KRMTE.
8. Dispose of the unconsumed portion of fortified milk after each feeding.
9. After preparation, close the can thoroughly with the lid.
Dosage
The added amount of BEBA EXPERT for FM 85 is adapted to the individual needs of the infant. A quantity of 4 g BEBA EXPERT for FM 85 per 100 ml of breast milk increases the energy to approximately 85 kcal.
In the absence of specific data on the composition of breast milk, the standard amount for final fortification is 1 scoop = 1 g BEBA EXPERT for FM 85 per 25 ml of breast milk. It is recommended to gradually increase the amount added from 1 g per 100 ml of breast milk to 4 g per 100 ml of breast milk over 5-7 days.
Storage conditions
Tightly close the opened package and keep dry at room temperature (max. 25 °C). Use within 21 days of opening. Packaged in a protective atmosphere. Minimum shelf life of unopened package when stored dry at room temperature (max. 25 °C) to the end: see the bottom of the can. A measuring cup is included in each package.

BEBA EXPERT for FM 85 is intended for use exclusively with breast milk. For use from birth on the basis of a doctor's recommendation. BEBA EXPERT for FM 85 should be administered under medical supervision. Not intended for parenteral use. It is not suitable as a sole source of nutrition and does not replace breast milk. Not suitable for infants with cow's milk protein allergy or intolerance, galactosaemia, congenital lactose intolerance, galactokinase deficiency, glucose-galactose malabsorption or maltose intolerance. Long-term breastfeeding is the best way to feed low birth weight infants.
