It is enough to move your hand to the position about 25cm above the sensor and the lid of the bin opens automatically. It then also closes automatically after you dispose of thrash. Opening and closing the lid

The opening and closing of the bin is operated by an infrared sensor. When your hand reaches the proximity of the bin, the lid opens within 0.5 seconds. When you withdraw your hand, the lid closes in 3 seconds. In addition to automatic opening, you can also take advantage of the possibility of closing the lid manually (for instance when you need to have the lid open for a longer period of time). The economical operation of the waste bin is provided by 3 LR20/D batteries. High-quality alkaline batteries can open the lid up to 10000 times. 

Bin design

The bind is made of premium brushed matt stainless steel with Fingerprint Proof fingerprint protection. The lid is also made of matt stainless steel. In addition to the solid construction, the Helpmation bins feature a very modern design, they are cleaned easily and they feature anti-corrosion protection. The inner part of the bin features a bag securing ring that always keeps the garbage bag in one place.
