Multifunctional 2-in-1 guard – convert your bed guard into a playpen
When you purchase 4 pieces of the iMex Smart guard, you receive free connectors, which are essential for converting the guards into a practical playpen. Experts designed this clever connector with multifunctionality and safety in mind. It lets you link individual guards into a stable structure that creates a secure, closed space. This is ideal as a playpen where your child can play and rest while staying away from dangerous areas in the room. Converting the guards into a playpen is incredibly simple and anyone can do it without needing complex tools. To assemble the playpen, you need two pairs of guards in the same sizes, e.g. 2×200cm and 2×120cm.
Safe and durable construction
The entire guard features a two-sided lowering system, which lets you reach your baby from the outside of the bed. The guard mechanism is designed to prevent children from unlocking it themselves. Adjustable metal legs allow you to customise the guard height to match your mattress, eliminating any dangerous gaps between the rail and the mattress. The metal legs feature a wide end cap that goes under the mattress to provide greater stability. Made of lightweight, durable metal, the frame withstands high pressure without warping. The guard consists of metal tubes, polypropylene (PP) plastic parts and soft protective elements made of EPE foam.
High-quality, breathable material
The product features a breathable mesh that ensures adequate air circulation and lets you keep an eye on your child. The top part of the guard is covered with a special child-friendly fabric that is easy to clean. The material is also suitable for homes with pets. Smart guards cannot be combined with other types of guards (such as Premium). The actual length of the rail is approximately 3cm shorter to leave room for attaching additional rails on either side. The guard is intended only for protection during sleep. Do not climb on the guard or modify its construction.
Drill-free installation
You can install the iMex Smart guard without any drilling. The entire system works by securing the guard directly under the mattress, where its weight stabilises the structure. You can use the bed guards individually, in pairs (in an L-shape or opposite each other), as 3 pieces (U-shape), or as 4 pieces (around the entire perimeter of the bed). They fit almost any type of bed. Before ordering, please measure the sides of your inner bed frame.
