When you purchase 4 iMex Smart bed guards, you receive free connectors, which are key to converting the guards into a practical playpen. Developed by experts, this clever connector focuses on both multifunctionality and safety. It lets you link individual guards into a stable structure that creates a secure, closed space. This is ideal as a playpen where your child can play and rest while staying away from hazardous areas in the room. Converting the guards into a playpen is a very simple process that anyone can handle without any complex tools. To assemble the playpen, you need two pairs of guards of the same size, e.g., 2×200cm and 2×120cm.
Safe and durable construction
The entire guard features a two-sided lowering system, giving you access to your baby from the outside of the bed. The guard mechanism is designed to prevent children from unlocking it themselves. Adjustable metal feet let you adapt the height of the guard to the mattress, eliminating any dangerous gaps between the railing and the mattress. The metal feet feature wide end caps that go under the mattress to provide greater stability. The frame consists of lightweight, durable metal that withstands high pressure without warping. The guard is constructed from metal tubes, plastic parts (PP) and soft protective elements (EPE foam).
High-quality, breathable material
The product features a breathable mesh that ensures proper air circulation and lets you keep an eye on your child. The top part of the guard is covered with a special child-friendly fabric that is easy to clean. The material is also suitable for homes with pets. Smart guards cannot be combined with other types of guards (such as Premium). The actual length of the railing is approximately 3cm shorter to leave room for attaching additional guards on both sides. The guard is intended only for protection during sleep. Do not climb on the guard or modify its construction.
No-drill installation
You can install the iMex Smart guard without any drilling. The entire system works by fitting directly under the mattress, where the weight of the mattress stabilises the structure. The bed guards can be used individually, as a pair (in an L-shape or opposite each other), as 3 pieces (in a U-shape) or as 4 pieces (around the entire perimeter of the bed). You can attach them to almost any type of bed. Please measure the inner bed frame sides before ordering.
