Yerba maté, or Paraguayan holly, has been known for thousands of years for its ability to combat physical and mental fatigue. South American Indians used it to maintain alertness—they considered the decoction from the dried leaves of the sacred tree to be the drink of the gods. In combination with refreshing mint and slightly sour hibiscus flower, it helps overcome tiredness when you can't rest, giving you vitality and enthusiasm for more work or study. This tea blend is also perfect for starting a new day.

Preparation

Pour 200ml of boiling water over 1 tea bag and infuse for 5–10 minutes. Always prepare fresh.

Taste and Aroma

The herbal blend has a fresh minty aroma and a slightly sour, pleasant taste, perfect for staying hydrated. The colour of the tea is a deep red.
