The Lionelo Bastiaan i-Size car seat is suitable for children from 40 to 150cm in height. It meets the strict European standard R129. It can be installed in both forward-facing and rear-facing positions. It is installed using the Isofix system and the Top Tether belt. Safety systems protect the child while driving, while practical design solutions guarantee comfort. The car seat has safety belts and a rotating base, which guarantees that the child can be easily placed in and taken out of the seat. The maximum weight of 21kg applies when using the car seat's own belts (for children 76–105cm). For older children (100–150cm), the vehicle's own seat belts are used, so the weight can be higher (up to 36kg).

After removing the reducer insert, the car seat offers a wide seat covered with EPE foam, which guarantees comfort.

The Lionelo Bastiaan i-Size car seat is installed using the ISOFIX system and the Top Tether strap, which feature indicators to show correct installation. If the car seat is fastened correctly, the indicator will change colour from red to green. The car seat also allows for installation using ISOFIX and the car's safety belts or with the belts alone, which is useful for children with a height of 100-150cm. A special mechanism for the safety belts integrated into the car seat ensures they can be tensioned with one hand. The belts and buckle have special padding to prevent chafing on the child's skin.
