The Maxi-Cosi Pearl S Tonal Black car seat is designed for children from 3 months to 4 years (up to 18 kg, 61 to 105 cm). It attaches to the vehicle using the separately sold Maxi-Cosi FamilyFix S base. With the separately sold newborn insert for children from 40 to 60 cm, the car seat can be used for children from birth. The Maxi-Cosi FamilyFix S base is sold separately and is designed for the Maxi-Cosi Pebble S car seat in addition to the Maxi-Cosi Pearl S. In combination with these car seats, the base is suitable for use from birth to 4 years (40 to 105 cm, up to 18 kg). The base allows the child to travel in the Maxi-Cosi Pearl S car seat for better head and neck protection in the opposite direction up to 4 years. From 15 months of age, the car seat can be placed on the base in the direction of travel. The base attaches to the car with ISOFIX fasteners. Visual indicator on the base minimises the likelihood of incorrect seat attachment. The car seat attaches quickly and easily to the base with Click-and-Go technology. The ergonomic release button makes it easy to disconnect the car seat. The seat belts do not get in the way when putting the child in the car seat. In addition, the harness and head restraints can be easily adjusted in height to suit the size of the child. The Maxi-Cosi FamilyFix S base and the newborn insert for children up to 60 cm are sold separately.

Safety
The car seat meets the very strict requirements of the i-Size safety standard (R129) and the child can be carried rear-facing (for better head and neck protection) up to 4 years of age. From the age of 15 months / 76 cm, the seat can be placed on the base in the direction of travel. The seat can be easily and securely attached to the vehicle with Isofix anchors and a support leg. The visual indicator on the basis of FamilyFix S minimises the possibility of incorrectly attaching the car seat. The car seat also has a Side Protection System with G-Cell technology, which absorbs the energy generated in an impact to protect your child in a side impact. The headrest ensures comfort and protection for your child's head.

The separately sold newborn insert for babies from 40 to 60 cm guarantees safe and comfortable use from birth. Thanks to the adjustable positions of the car seat and headrest, the child can sleep and sit comfortably in both directions. In addition, the car seat is equipped with a comfortable Eco Care cover, which is made from 100% recycled materials with environmental sustainability in mind. The car seat cover can be easily removed and washed in the washing machine.
