Pai Mu Tan is a white tea that in the past could only be enjoyed by people from higher social classes. It is sometimes also nicknamed White Peony and offers a full flavor and fruity aroma with light nutty notes. Pai Mu Tan comes from the southeastern Chinese province of Fujian and, thanks to its low caffeine content, you can enjoy the tea throughout the day - it is also suitable for children and pregnant women. What about white tea and its preparation? Everyone can do it here. Just follow a few rules listed on the back of its packaging. You' ll have a delicious drink in just a few minutes.

Preparation
To prepare Pai Mu Tan, use two tablespoons (approx. 5 grams) of tea, pour it with half a liter of 70 - 80° C water and let it steep for 2 to 3 minutes. The amount of tea used will of course affect its intensity, so if you prefer a stronger infusion, don' t be afraid to add a few grams more tea. The tea can be steeped multiple times - high-quality Pai Mu Tan is enough for up to three infusions of light green to golden colour.
Storage
Store in a dry place at a temperature of up to 25 °C away from direct sunlight. Protect from frost.
