Lapacho
Lapacho is the inner bark of Tecome Lapacho trees, found in the forests of Brazil, Bolivia, Peru, northern Argentina and Paraguay. In the Andes, they reach an age of up to 700 years. Lapacho reached Europe with the Vikings, who exchanged it for precious stones during their travels. Lapacho was drunk by Russian tsars and monks in Macedonian monasteries.
Preparation
20 g of tea is enough for one liter of this tea. The drink is prepared by keeping the water with Lapach at a gentle boil for 20 minutes. After this time, the resulting infusion is ready to drink.
