TIERRA VERDE Laundry Rinse is a hypoallergenic, fragrance-free formula designed for people with sensitive skin. Its main function is to neutralise the rinse water and help wash away any remaining laundry detergent from fabrics, which can irritate the skin. It leaves your laundry soft and pleasant to the touch. The product also prevents laundry from turning grey and stiff, helps to preserve its colours, and restores the natural absorbency of textile fibres. It is suitable for washing in hard water.

Why Use a Laundry Rinse?

Laundry detergents need to be alkaline to wash effectively. However, the natural pH of human skin is slightly acidic, which protects it from the growth of microorganisms. During a short rinse cycle in the washing machine, detergent residue can remain in the fabric, which can then be activated by body heat and irritate the skin. An acidic laundry rinse neutralises the alkaline rinse water and helps to effectively wash these residues out of the fibres, leaving laundry truly clean and non-irritating.

Use and Custom Fragrance Option

TIERRA VERDE Laundry Rinse is suitable for machine washing and hand washing. For machine washing, simply pour it into the fabric softener compartment. For hand washing, use 30ml of the product per 10L of water, let the laundry soak in the solution for at least 10 minutes, and then rinse it in clean water. Although the rinse is fragrance-free, you can add your own scent by adding a few drops of an organic essential oil. However, remember that the product will no longer be hypoallergenic after this modification.

The Difference Compared to Fabric Softener and Proper Storage

Unlike standard fabric softener, which coats fibres and reduces their absorbency, this laundry rinse restores their natural properties. Fabric softener is therefore not suitable for towels, sportswear, or underwear. This laundry rinse, on the other hand, helps to maintain the functionality of all textiles. When storing the product, ensure the temperature does not drop below 10°C. In the cold, the plant-based surfactant may precipitate, appearing as a white cloudiness. This phenomenon does not affect the functionality of the product and will disappear after shaking.
