25 grams of happiness

How a tiny hedgehog can change your life

Massimo's life is turned upside down by Ninna - a scraggly little hedgehog weighing only 25 grams. It will not only help him get through a difficult period, but also give him a new meaning: Massimo sets up a rescue station for hedgehogs and takes care of those who need help. Like the hedgehog donchuan Trilly or the fragile Lisa, who managed to win everyone around her with her gaze, or poor Zoe, who managed to fend off all the blows of fate. The injured, abused and defenceless animals, who are overflowing with the desire for life, managed to change Massimo's life.

In 2014, he opened the "Ninna" Rescue Station (Centro di Recupero Ricci "La Ninna"), a detached unit of the Brenezzo Rescue Station. He is the president of the association "Home for Hedgehogs" (La Casa dei ricci), which aims to protect hedgehogs and nature.
