3 Days in Quiberon - DVD

For generations of cinema-goers, Romy Schneider is the embodiment of a romantic dream – the noble Empress Sissi. However, when she arrives at the French resort of Quiberon, she is a broken woman. An actress at the twilight of her career, a mother struggling in vain to connect with her own child, a personality deeply unsettled by alcoholism and depression.

In the melancholic setting of the seaside resort, she is supposed to undergo a symbolic resurrection. This includes not only restorative treatments but also an extensive interview with Michael Jürgs, a journalist from the German magazine Stern, which is to be documented by the photographer Robert Lebeck, an old acquaintance of Romy's.
