A Clockwork Orange - 4K Ultra HD

Stomping, punchy, creeping, singing, Alex (Malcolm McDowell), a tap-dancing and violent hooligan, enjoys life in his own way, but always at the expense of others. Alex's journey from immoral scoundrel to an orderly, soulless life within the confines of the law, thanks to the radical rehab he must undergo, is the backbone of Stanley Kubrick's shocking vision of the near future, based on Anthony Burgess' novel.

The unforgettable images, the surprising musical contrasts and the fascinating language used by Alex and his cronies are masterfully shaped by Kubrick into one perfect whole. The film's first release was controversial, yet A Clockwork Orange won the New York Film Critics Circle Award for Best Picture and Best Director and four other Academy Award nominations, including Best Picture. The power of such art continues to provoke, shock and hold us in its grip.
