A flamboyant bohemian reminisces

Memoirs of a versatile artist about his childhood, the vanished Prague and the Vltava river with its rafts and mills, supplemented by the experiences of family members from the war period (connected with the deaths of loved ones in Treblinka and Mauthausen) and the fate of his ancestors – musicians and circus performers from the Bohemian Forest.
The author writes about scouting in illegality during the age of steam railways, about the occupation of 1968 and about the normalisation of the 1970s, when as an inconvenient, untamed rocker he provoked the regime of the time.
Lots of period photographs and almost unbelievable experiences that really did happen.
