A novel for men

Sophisticated composition, fast-paced plot and, last but not least, verbal and situational humour are traditional features of Viewegh's audiobooks. This time the author's writing strengths include the uncompromising vigour with which he opens the door to the "thirteenth chamber" of the male world. A Novel for Men is Michal Viewegh's twentieth anniversary book. Perhaps that's why it is not only a book about women's disillusionment with a world run by over-aged boys, but also a reflective, often almost self-ironic reflection on successful writing.
